The MYM "Home" page is the main entry point for our new and current users. Previously, the content was static, rarely updated, and difficult to sort, making it hard for users to discover creators. On the other hand, creators struggled to gain visibility.

With users accustomed to top-tier social and content discovery platforms, it was crucial to redesign the homepage to align MYM with market standards and deliver an immersive experience.

If we fail to capture their attention immediately or if the search experience falls short, they’re likely to leave the platform. To attract new users, retain existing ones, and deliver an engaging experience, this page needs to make a strong first impression.

This space is curated by MYM and highlights content creators carefully chosen by the team. These creators may be new creators with high potential, creators performing exceptionally well, or creators with whom we have a partnership agreement.

The goal was to make navigation easier and enable users to search effortlessly by major categories while keeping other elements on the page dynamic. They can explore categories like Astrology and Divination, Adult, or Charm (accessible only after age and identity verification), based on their preferences and current interests.

The different sections may feature both free content, pay-per-view content, or creator profiles, in order to test the effectiveness of formats and help each user find what they're looking for. Inspired by discovery experiences from platforms like Netflix, Instagram, etc., the goal is to offer users a personalized experience that maximizes the ability to capture their attention.

The preliminary findings related to the revamp of the Discovery tab have proven highly satisfactory. Our future endeavors will focus on continued analysis of these results, further refining the algorithm, and integrating subcategories within the filtering mechanism. We anticipate tackling these matters at the start of 2025.
